On the occasion of World Earth Day... launching the first carbon footprint guide for civil society organizations
At a time when the world is facing accelerating climate challenges, environmental action today has become one of the most important pillars of sustainable development and the credibility of institutions, and sustainability is no longer an additional option, but rather a basic necessity to protect resources and ensure a more balanced future for future generations.
On the occasion of World Earth Day, and within the framework of the efforts of the Arab Center for the Sustainability of Civil Action to promote environmental sustainability within civil society institutions, we announce the launch of the “Guideline for Applications of Carbon Footprint Calculation for Civil Society Organizations,” as an integrated scientific and applied reference aimed at supporting civil society organizations in understanding and managing their carbon footprint, and transforming environmental commitment from mere slogans into clear and applicable implementation plans.
On Earth Day, we affirm that preparing for the future begins with the first measurement step, and that conscious institutional will is capable of making the difference in protecting our planet and ensuring the rights of future generations.
Stay tuned for the official launch soon...
